Separating zippers are designed for jackets, coats, hoodies, sweatshirts, and any type of use where the zipper needs to separate completely at the bottom.  They have pin and box at the bottom allowing the zipper to separate.

Nylon Coil:  Made from nylon monofilament that is coiled to make the teeth then sewn onto the zipper tape.
